PRME Chapter ASEAN+ invites all PAoM members to join the 2nd PRME World Tour (PWT) Research Paper Development Workshop on 27th July 2022.
The PRME World Tour Research Paper Development Program is a partnership between Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) and two of the world’s leading international journals in the responsible management and business-in-society field, Business & Society and Journal of Business Ethics.
The basic idea is to support scholars in bringing research to publication, as part of the field’s commitment to relevant and timely research insights that advance responsible management and the sustainable development goals around the world. The PRME World Tour also has a more general ambition of supporting the professionalization of the scholarly field of responsible management research, by increasing the range of voices heard in top management journals.
The targeted audience is composed of PhD students, newly graduated doctors, postdoctoral researchers, early career, mid-career, and senior scholars. Participants to the workshop will benefit from guidance from experienced scholars and journal editors/associate editors and gain insight on what it takes to publish papers with a business and society focus in leading peer-reviewed journals.
The 2nd Virtual PRME World Tour Paper Development Program schedule is as follows:
1. First Session will have the Keynote lecture and the Editors’ panel: Jochen Reb, Professor of Organisational Behaviour & Human Resources; Director, Mindfulness Initiatives at Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University will speak on the role and importance of mindfulness in research and publishing and the impact of rigorous research on responsible management as a practice. The virtual workshop is FREE for all participants and will be hosted by Monash University Malaysia (School of Business) on July 27th, 2022. 2. Second Session participation is by invitation only, exclusively to the accepted authors of the three streams comprising selected papers/grants proposals, and concept notes/project ideas. Deadline for submission is on 1st June 2022. Please submit your work in progress to loganathan.krishnan@monash.edu with the message title “PRME World Tour Research Paper Development ASEAN+”.
